Mrs. Frances Verdon
Long-term Kindergarten Substitute

Hello Everyone,

My name is Frances Verdon!  I am teaching the wonderful world of Kindergarten at Immanuel Lutheran this year!  I am overjoyed to be back at this special school.  I was a student at Immanuel many moons ago.  This school blessed me with many cherished memories and my goal is to give that gift to my students.  Since leaving Immanuel as a child, I continued my educational journey first at Miami University, then onto Arizona State University.  I graduated with an undergraduate degree in the History of Art and Architecture.  After having my own children, I went back and received my Post Baccalaureate in Elementary Education.  My experience has ranged from reading intervention, math intervention, all subject classroom instruction, English Language Learners, to substitute teaching!  I have taught in Arizona, Michigan, Kentucky/Indiana, and now Ohio.  Teaching has taken me down many paths and I have loved them all.

I pray that my love of teaching translates into my students demonstrating a passion for education.

From my family to yours, thank you for entrusting your child’s education to Immanuel Lutheran.
