Mr. James Williams
7th & 8th Homeroom
5-8 Math and Social Studies
Band Director

Jim Williams is our 7th and 8th grade teacher for academics as well as our band teacher for grades 5-8. He attended Morehead State University for 2 years, and then graduated from Northern Kentucky State College. He has also taken classes at Miami University.

This is his fourth year at Immanuel and he brings to us a wealth of experience and talent. He taught previously at three different Lutheran schools, as well as teaching grades 9-12 at Clermont High School for band, choir, music history and music theory. He was assistant band director at Wilmington College and taught percussion there.

He comes from a long line of teachers and public servants, which helped him know from a very early age that teaching was his calling. His daughter has also followed in his footsteps and has been teaching at a Lutheran school in New York for 6 years. His hobbies are woodworking, American history and listening to music. He is very pleased to tell everyone that he teaches at Immanuel Lutheran and feels students and staff are blessed to be there.
